HIMACS: Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone 2018

Exhibits with HIMACS at the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone 2018

Not just kitchens and bathroom furnishings, but accessories and design stands: once again, HIMACS is at the very heart of Design Week

HIMACS is a solid surface hailed throughout the world of interior design and architecture for its limitless flexibility in design projects. Choosing HIMACS gives designers abundant possibilities for shaping the material to fit their projects, in both form and function, from tables, chairs, benches, kitchens, and baths right through to light fittings, building facades, decorative elements etc, thus allowing designers total freedom of expression.

For this reason, many international design companies have used HIMACS widely over the years to produce furnishings and interiors, effortlessly combining aethetic appeal with top quality finishes.

The 2018 appointment with Design Week in Milan thus provides further confirmation of the success of HIMACS, which has been used in countless forms throughout the stands and also outside the show, at unmissable events.

TRANSITIONS III

Fuorisalone // Ventura Centrale, via Ferrante Aporti 9

Tuesday to Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm. Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm

This year, once again, these young Dutch designers will amaze Design Week visitors with their innovative projects. From simulated marble textures, which are the fruit of satellite images of our planet, to lamp stands created in HIMACS using for the first time a handcrafted “detachment” technique, lending a completely new appearance to the material that is both warm and artistic. The Transitions III exhibition, organised by Baars & Bloemhoff, is undoubtably an unmissable event at l Fuorisalone 2018.

SANWA COMPANY

Eurocucina // Hall 11 Stand C21 D20

Sanwa Company, a Japanese international company, introduces the new kitchens “AM 01” and “EO 01”, two monoblocks that fit perfectly even in the smallest places. AM 01, designed by Atelier Mendini, and EO 01, designed by Elisa Ossino, both respect the Japanese way of “living”, that enables one to conceal objects within the space. So these two kitchens can be hidden behind doors and panels, ensuring  the minimalism of the surrounding space. Balance, modernism, and creativity, along with HIMACS, created two units  that are a clear example of a study on the relation between shape and work.
