Scratches and cuts can be buffed away with a light duty scrubbing pad and a mild abrasive cleanser, then clean thoroughly with soap and water and wipe dry. Any scratch on a high gloss finish countertop should be removed by a professional fabricator. For knife cuts, deep cuts, gouges and chips, contact your fabricator. The damage is repairable but may require special tooling and expertise. Visit our Care and Maintenance page for more information.

Prolonged or extreme heat and flame can cause yellowing and damage the surface. In most cases, the damage can be repaired but it is still recommended that hot pads and trivets are used to protect the surface and prolong the product lifetime Do not place hot cookware or heat-generating appliances such as electric skillets, frying pans, griddles or slow cookers directly on the surface without hot pads and trivets.
